Great camera with a little downside
||Posted .This camera is definitely a step up from my previous Canon T3i. It has a lighter body, greater megapixels, and autofocus for video. However, the slight downside is it has a softer focus that can only be seen when previewed on computer or laptop. If you're looking through the camera's monitor, it'll look great but when doing a manual focusing, it'll have a softer focus than my previous T3i. I don't really know what's wrong with it. Everything else works great but the softer focus does set me off sometimes especially doing portraits. Otherwise, it's a great camera for a beginner and definitely a step up from the older Canon T models.

Great camera
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I’ve been into photography for years but just now recently started getting serious about it. This camera is awesome. Compatible with all canon lenses so it’s adaptable for whatever shooting you want to do. I’ve been doing portraits and family photography, and then some landscapes with a wide angle lens. So far, I’m really happy about my purchase.

T7i
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Have had this camera for a few months now and learned most of the settings and how to use them. Got some great pics even when not able to travel much right now. Most around the house. Everything is easy to understand with plenty of help for Canon if needed with a great support system.

In love!!
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I've always had a list of stuff I've always wanted and on that list I've always had a canon rebel dslr camera. Well I can finally cross it off my list! This camera is a beast for it being on the lower end of the spectrum of canons dslr cameras. It keeps up with my 2 year old and catches some amazing pictures without having to edit them. It has more features than I know what to do with and they are all great!

Great camera for an intermediate photographer
||Posted .Upgraded from a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and could not be more pleased. The 45 focus points help create wonderful images. Easy to use to the point that I use the T7i more in manual mode than auto. More shoots to come.

Great beginner DSLR for a good price
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This is my second DSLR. I upgraded from a Canon T2i which was another great camera but I really wanted something with a screen that flips out for recording. I wanted countless videos and compared this to the Canon 80D but the price difference made this purchase a no brainers as the spec difference for the 2 cameras is very minimal. I'm more than happy with my purchase.

Great camera!
||Posted .This is my second canon rebel, my first was an eos rebel xsi. The video, is actually really good, the pictures are beautiful. I bought the camera, to replace my older model, plus I wanted video. The camera is easy to use, the flip screen is also a plus. I would defiantly recommend this camera for beginner and intermediate.

Q: QuestionI am wanting to take excellent pictures of my son during his HS football games. I will be taking pictures from the stands. Will this camera produce wonderful action pictures from this distance? Thank you!
Asked by Angie.
- A:Answer It’s going to do wonderful at the game with it’s fast shutter speed and ability to take sports shots. I’d pair this guy up with a telephoto lens and you wouldn’t need anything else.

Q: QuestionWhich lens is better to start with 18-55 or 18-135? Will be using for children's concerts, graduation and family events with some subjects far away. Thanks
Asked by teev.
- A:Answer I had that kit but eventually sold my 18-55 and got the 18-135. But if you buy camera with the 18-55 u get an option to buy additional the 55-250 for only $150 . If u don't want that the 18-135 is good but makes camera a little heavier and longer.

Q: QuestionIs this a mirroless camera? Will 70 to 300 lens work with this camera?
Asked by Torf.
- A:Answer No, this is not a mirrorless camera. If you want a good mirrorless camera, Sony has a bunch. And for the lens, it depends on the type of lens it is. Typically 70-300mm lenses are made by Nikon and will not fit right out of the box. If you want to use the Nikon lens there are adapters available to use it.

Q: QuestionI’m wanting to use this camera for basketball games, baseball games and my daughter’s dance competitions and recitals. What lenses will I need?? Something with stabilization?
Asked by Tera.
- A:Answer For any sports photography you need the same things no matter what camera you are using. You need “fast glass” and you need zoom to get in the action. A good lens for indoor sports is the Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Lens. It doesn’t have zoom and it’s a full frame lens which will give you a tighter field of view (153mm) on this crop sensor camera. If you don’t mind spending the money you can use a Canon EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This lens will get you closer to the action and will have and even tighter field of view on the image (320mm equivalent). These lenses are considered fast because of the wide apertures letting in plenty of light o get the shutter to close fast, freezing the action. It lenses with the f/4 or and higher apertures will cause the shutter to stay open longer to let in light. The shutter closes slower, blurring the image you are trying to capture.
