A: This is the first and last thing I will preorder from Best Buy. I also have an email stating “RECEIVE by March 26” which to me sounds like they should have shipped that thing by Wednesday. I don’t even have a shipment date, just an email saying that if I don’t have it by April 9th(!!!!) Bestbuy will cancel my order, an order I cant cancel myself at this point, essentially leaving my money in limbo for the next two weeks.
A: I preordered mines last month, and it's been 3 days since the launch of the bundle and I still haven't got my product. I know there was limited stock, but so far, they're saying my bundle won't be here til April 9th. It was stated that I would get my product on March 26th. I left a review of the bundle, giving it a 1 star review, but so far I don't see it posted, but somehow 4 five star reviews about a product that hasn't even been shipped out yet through Best Buy can get posted? Honestly, try another distributor and avoid scalpers.
Q: Is a preorder guarantee a purchase?
A: It definitely should, but in today's world who knows. Unless you paying some robot to buy your stuff for you nothing is guaranteed on pre-orders. That being said, you are probably good.
A: Currently, yes. Unfortunately, as soon as journalists reported on stock, they sold out within a couple hours. You still have a chance with amazon or walmart; they still haven't listed thier pre-orders yet.
Q: I have the item on my cart but it won't let me process..
A: If you get a notification at checkout with something like it cannot be delivered to your location/store it means it was bought up fast by others before your order could be processed.
Q: When will BestBuy start to ship the preorders? On the 26th?
A: Most likely yes.
A: This depends on whether or not people go to pick up their pre orders or not. The hold time for pickup is 5 days. If you cannot find another retailer who has pre orders up, then your best bet is to periodically call your best buy up until the 5th day to see if orders have been cancelled.
