A:AnswerThis is my first tablet, since my laptop became unusable, and I have had no problem figuring out how to use it. I am 70 years old, so if I can do it, anyone should be able to.
A:AnswerGreat battery lasts 8 hours sometimes 10 and I play games on it so I use it a lot ,I get up at 7 am and play games or face book and I don't charge it till I go to bed at 11 I've had lots of tables but this has been the best.
A:AnswerIt is a lie to say you can use Netflix with this tablet. I have this tablet, and it is not compatible with Netflix. Also, there are many bugs....such as I cannot get it to update. It just gives an error message saying there is no network....funny thing is the only thing on the tablet that cannot see the network is the update setting. Piece of junk! DO NOT BUY!!
A:AnswerAfter receiving the BB weekly ad I had the same question. I am browsing myself for a new device. No mention of processing speed so I went online to Intel and referenced Processor #. It says burst frequency speed UP TO 1.1GHz.
Hopefully Insignia can clarity that important spec.
A:AnswerMy Christmas gift (tablet) has the same problem. I hear that Christmas gifts can still be returned. Call the store. I am returning mine tomorrow.

A:AnswerI bought this tablet specifically to use it for SongBook (an app for song lyrics/chords). My father-in-law (in his 70s) will be the primary user of this tablet, and yes, he is able to read them easily. He actually commented that he was surprised about some of the lyrics he thought he knew but was singing wrong.
We have been very happy with this tablet. FYI, we have others (three Apple tablets of different generations), but we wanted another we could dedicate to musical service. I like the Insignia 10.1" so much I want to buy another.
We could not find a case in the store for this tablet. I ordered one online from another vendor. The cover we selected rotates to vertical (portrait), which is how we usually view the table rather than a music stand. We have also mounted it in a boom stand we have that holds iPads and other tablets. Worked fine there too.
A:AnswerAs per the product manual on Insigna's website the tablet only supports 2.4GHz 802.11bgn. This is a hardware limitation, not software. Insigna did not include a 5GHz radio on the tablet so changing OS versions or software will not address this limitation.
A:AnswerI returned mine because it was too slow. I had very few apps installed. The sale price was too good to be true. If I want better performance, it will be more expensive.
A:AnswerIt uses a 'lite' version of GPS that uses nearby wifi signals and limited GPS signals from satellites. Not to get too technical, but, you need multiple satellite signals to get a good fix on location, this doesn't have that. I suspect it only picks up one signal.
You don't, technically, need cellular or data plans to use GPS, but this 'lite' version of GPS does require wifi to be useful (which this does have, of course).
So, it's 'kinda' there, but, if you're planning on using this in your car without data (like, from your phone's hotspot), it's gonna suck or not work at all.
