A:AnswerI think remote is always connected even when fire stick in sleep mode.
This remote uses the very low power Bluetooth connection so battery last long.
Usually Duracell battery last 6 months.
You need not to turn off remote unless you really need to stop using the fire stick for very long time.
To off the remote you have to remove battery from remote.
A:AnswerYou may need Hulu Sports, or YouTube TV, depending on where you are located. The Firestick has apps for both of these, but you will need subscriptions to these services.. I have to use YouTube TV to watch the Trailblazer games, because I don't get Comcast Sports, but YouTube TV and Hulu Sports do.
A:AnswerOnly if you have it on your cable or satellite service. Some services like HBO let you pay a monthly fee to watch it from their app even though you don’t have a cable or satellite service.I don’t know if Cimemax offers such a service but you can check with them.
A:AnswerI bought the Fire TV and it appears to work fine with Directv Now, so far it's better than Roku.
It does have the Tablo app for local channels with my antenna.
I would highly recommend Fire TV.
A:AnswerThe fire stick has to have a wifi signal, as long as you set it up to your wifi it should work with no problems. They work best with Amazon Prime but you do not need to have it.
