I only do light gaming seems to be ok so far. This modem is a wired connection only you would need a router for wifi connection. I am using EERO gateway for that to replace my XFI as it worked well when connected but kept dropping off and did not reach whole length of house. Speed does not seem to be an issue matches provider speeds.
