A:AnswerYes it will produce static if you have the volume on the headset all the way up. What you need to do is turn the volume down till you don't hear the static anymore then turn the volume up on the Xbox and you won't have the issue anymore
A:AnswerDepends on what adapter you're talking about. The stereo adapter that plugs into the bottom of your controller works fine. But if you're looking for surround sound then the USB component this headset uses to provide the surround sound then you will have to look for a headset that comes with Dolby atmos. That's the closest thing an xbox headset can get to surround sound. Xbox only supports surround sound on a speaker system outside of a headset anyway.
