A:AnswerI looked at both. The Epson is a little taller. The Epson's output tray is motorized on this unit. The HP's tray sticks out quite a bit from the main body. You can retract the Epson tray once you are done printing.
A:AnswerI don't know but my suggestion is to call Epson. Their CSR are very knowledgeable and do a good job explaining the features and where to locate tools ( different from the Artisan 837.)
I work in Windows 10 and not sure about MS 11.
A:AnswerHello.
Well this printer does actually have a specialized DVD tray for printing directly on inkjet printable DVDs
and CD Disc's without the need to put a label on the disc. If you go to Amazon.com and search this item, you'll see a DVD on the Special dedicated. tray in one of the photos. I hope my answer was helpful to you. If my answer was helpful to you, please select helpful or like.
A:AnswerHello drod. Yes, the XP-7100 includes ink pads that are used to collect, distribute, and contain ink that is not used on printed pages. If your printer displays that the ink pads need to be replaced and your product is under a standard warranty, Epson will exchange or replace the printer. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

A:AnswerHi jecjr0726, The XP-7100 must be connected to a land line to fax. The paper path is 8.5" wide, so it cannot print 11" x 17" paper. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerWe just bought this printer for work. We are able to print to transparency paper. But you have to modify the settings to high gloss photo paper and black and white. We only use black for what we need. We need to print a logo that is solid that we use in our transfer printers. If it is not solid then there is too much light passing through the logo when we burn our printing plates and you will see it on the plates. The lines look like vector/raster lines and are consistently in the same place.
A:AnswerHi missy, No the XP-7100 is not a sublimation printer. Using ink other than the Epson 410 or high-capacity 410 cartridges it is designed for can damage the print heads and affect warranty coverage. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
