Can this printer print on Transparency film??? null

We just bought this printer for work. We are able to print to transparency paper. But you have to modify the settings to high gloss photo paper and black and white. We only use black for what we need. We need to print a logo that is solid that we use in our transfer printers. If it is not solid then there is too much light passing through the logo when we burn our printing plates and you will see it on the plates. The lines look like vector/raster lines and are consistently in the same place.
