The Epson XP-7100 is the best printer for my needs. 1. Affordable, Best Buy Sale price 2. Affordable inks 3 color cartridges, 1 Black - K Key for color highlight , 1 Larger Black for text and monochrome printing. 3. Fast color printing, faster black and white. 4. All possible network options. Ethernet , my preference. For reliability and speed , USB for easy setup and wireless. 5. Apple air print compatible, prints from cell phones and iPad. 6. CD/ DVD tray that Prints directly to Printable CD/DVDs . I have using this more than I thought I would. Its software is very easy and intuitive, unbelievable results! 7. Overall solid and attractive printer/Scanner., I would highly recommend the Epson XP-7000 to anyone. Cons: Tricky setup up on Mac. It only shows up in Apple system Preferences as Epson 7000 series Printer, it doesn’t show the Scanner. To resolve. Remove it from the Apple printer/ scanner setup, then reinstall it using the Epson XP-7000 series using Bonjour printer multi function device. And you are all set. You can print and scan from there. See attached screenshot, Comes with CD for windows PC S. Set up is seamless with that. I highly recommend the Epson XP -7100 printer/scanner to any user Windows or Mac.

Great for photos - Document feeder failure

While the print quality for this printer is fantastic - especially for photos - Unfortunately, the document feeder for scanning does not work — which is exactly why I purchased this model. I tried a number of documents - old and new, and it absolutely will not feed the papers through. The compact size is ideal - but without a working document feeder for scanning - legal sized paperwork cannot be scanned.

First printer I’ve gotten in a long time… I’m very happy with the quality of pictures and regular printing. Set up was a little time consuming for it to align printer head… kept printing test sheets and I had to select which line looked best. Not difficult, but clunky… But hey, the pictures you can print with it are excellent quality! So I’d say it’s definitely worth it! The instructions for the paper trays (yes trayS, there’s two) was very poor, I felt like an idiot cause it took me about 5 minutes to figure it out… I’ll add a picture showing it, hopefully I can spare some readers unnecessary embarrassment. Having two trays is actually very convenient if you plan on using it for pictures! I leave plain paper in the lower tray and 4x6 picture paper in the upper. It’s great being able to wirelessly print from my phone, or computer! I’ve only used the collate function once, and it worked great! Also used it for manual scanning and the results were excellent! I did read several reviews complaining about the limited paper tray capacity… but for home use, I feel it’s more than adequate. I wouldn’t recommend it for an office printer that will be printing large quantities, as the main tray is on the small side, but I don’t consider that a “negative”, more just a nature of this model. Also, the upper tray will not fit full size paper, so if you plan on doing large pictures you need to use the lower tray. I do love the fact that the color inks are separate… and it even has two black cartridges(one for normal printing and one specifically for pictures). I did find it interesting that the out tray is powered… to close it you need to press the button on the control pad. Not a bad thing, just peculiar. Over all I love the printer and would definitely recommend it!

    Great Space Saver

This is a great investment. Reasonably priced, uses a small footprint (space saver [the paper feed and exit trays do not hang over the back or side of the unit]), fast printing and scanning, good quality color prints and so easy to set up the wireless connection. I replaced my Epson 500 with this 7100 model because I accidentally snapped off (broke) the scan feeding tray and was having to do all my scanning on the glass plate one page at a time for that last 3 years. This one is great because I can put a small stack of statements in the feeder and it scans both sides faster than my old printer printed one page. Both the printing and scanning on my new 7100 are by far the fastest I've experienced. Printed colors are bright and sharp. Toner cartridges are very easy to install. My only Con is that when I try to scan a statement that is not your typical size paper (long and narrow), the printer thinks it jammed and won't pull it through to scan. I've tried adding the paper dimension but it still wouldn't take it. Also, the slider that holds the page(s) snug against the side of the scan paper tray only has about a half inch of adjustment. It's useless for pages narrower than 8" wide. Otherwise, I LOVE MY NEW PRINTER!

This printer is the best i ever had. From basic printing to copy and scanner, the colors and qualities are perfect. The speed is awesome. The price was awesome as well. The ink that came with the printer lasted for a while. The instructions were easy to follow. It took a little while, but it was clear and as a non technical person, i was able to get work. I was even able to connect it wirelessly to my phone and computer. Amazing. I just love to print wireless from my room and get it in my home office.

Was lookkng for a printer that also prints photos. I didnt expect the quality of my photos to be “great” - I expected something decent enough for what i was paying, ya know? But yeah, nope - I was pleasantly surprised! I even ended up printing my kids school photos with it. 10/10 - I recommend this. Set up was fast and easy too with my iMac, but you do have to find the software for it online if you dont have a disk reader / windows.

It’s supposed to be easy to set up, NOT! As it didn’t pop a little box on my screen like it said it would I had to get help connecting it to my laptop and I’m still having problems connecting it to my phone, it falls off the network! I even connected it too via Bluetooth by scanning the barcode on the printer , it works and then it doesn’t work as it falls offline! It prints beautiful photos! Unfortunately I was printing off paper copies and then went back to wanting to print more photos off of my phone and then the printer decided it didn’t want to print photos again!!! I don’t know what happened in that short time frame but now it won’t print again !!! It’s so frustrating!! Companies assume everyone is good at these electronic devices but not all of us are! I need my printer to work and without being so time consuming on trying to figure out why it’s not working this time! I never had this many problems with my awesome original Epson XP-820, that is until that “ink pad” was at the end of its service life!!! No one seems to know what that “ink pad” is in the printers!! I wished I could have just replaced that in my original printer!! I bought the same XP-820 refurbished, I will NEVER do that again!! That printer didn’t last but four months and that box came up saying “ink pad is at the end of service life”!! The printer would NOT work anymore!! It was even very difficult to get the new ink out of the printer, yep it had just made me put new ink in it before the ink pads end! I have a feeling there is probably an “ink pad” in this printer too!! Anyway this printer prints very well if you can keep it on the network!

Great printer that does the job for personal or small household needs. As an added bonus, I did not expect the photo quality to be as good as it is. I have been print on 5x7 photo printer and colors are vibrant. Nice printer for a great price.

Epson - Expression Premium XP-7100 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer is a great printer. Very easy to set up, and I have my iMac, Dell laptop, iPhone XS phone and an iPad Pro 11 wirelessly set up to this printer and it can handle the task that I give. As far as the picture 4x6 quality, it’s amazing. And printing jobs are exactly how they look on my device. I am set up with replenish ink program, so I will never run out of ink. I’m glad I purchased this model.

I'm very satisfied with the printer. I print on regular paper, photo paper, and some types of cardstock, and I haven't had any problems. It prints in good quality, very quickly, and the option to print on both sides of the page is very cool. I get the impression that ink consumption is low, but that depends on how much each person uses.

Most importantly, the Epson actually WORKS with Mac Ventura OS! After suffering through an HP 9015e and a Brother that simply WOULD NOT work longer than a couple of hours at a time with my Mac, I am pleased beyond words to have a printer that works so effortlessly! Easy to set up. Quality unit. I like the different paper tray feed options integrated into the unit. A much larger HP I had was cumbersome on that task. Thanks, Epson!

My Epson Series 810 died after 11 years. I am a artist and photographer I printed many photos I love the XP-7100 so far! Affordable, easy to carry, easy to set up, easy to load up the ink, prints fast and all paper work and photos come out great! Have not used it enough to see if the ink runs out fast but for now it's good!
