Hi Ginger, The XP-7100 can scan and copy both sides of documents loaded into the auto document feeder. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

It will scan from the flatbed or from the automatic document feeder. I should think that it’s double-sided capability should work as well but I’ve never tried that
