A:AnswerAn app is required to set it up. Once its set up, this system boosts your existing system. There is no need to change any user name or password.
That will all stay the same and unaffected by this setup.
A:AnswerYou will still need something to bring the internet signal to your camper. You could pair this with the verizon mobile service box. Either way all this does is take a current internet signal and makes it wifi.
A:AnswerYes! That is the main intent of a MESH network. You have 3 pods - one you place by your modem, and the other 2 place at other locations in your house. The one that is connected into the modem then transfers the wifi signal (it won't be 5g, but as fast as it would be using your wifi near your modem/router) to extend the signal to dead spots in your home. We have a 2 story and the kids always complained about our wifi dropping in their rooms and the wifi being really slow. Since I set this up, I haven't heard one complaint. But, if you get 1GB speed, you may want to look at the Eero - still a MESH network but my understanding is it handles faster speeds.
A:AnswerNot sure what information you are looking for, but if is to add a WiFi spot you just plug it in and use your phones RFQ reader to sync it up. If that is not what your looking for let me know.
A:AnswerWell it should not matter that someone else is near you and has the same service provider (Comcast in your case). Make sure your WifI is set up with a password, then have your roomba connect to your password protected Wifi. If you're password protected and have your roomba use only your password protected wifi, then you're 100% fine. And there should never be any impact from the business next door.
A:AnswerI have 100 mbps internet and have no issues playing xbox online while my wife streams movies in the next room. I don’t know why you would be having lag unless your current router is quite outdated. Older routers don’t have the same technology as the new ones and this being dual band, it should provide with a better quality wireless experience. Even if they are 2-3 years old. Right in the app used to set this up and control and monitor your internet, it will show how many devices are connected. If you have too many things trying to stream, you will eventually run into issues. With 150 mbps you shouldn’t be having issues right now, I’m sure a new router would fix any issue you are having with the old one. Especially if it is more than a few years old. I highly recommend this package for ease of setup, use, and quality of WiFi
A:AnswerNo it won’t connect to your router. They are not wifi extenders. The pucks create a mesh network which differs from your current routers signal
