I have 100 mbps internet and have no issues playing xbox online while my wife streams movies in the next room. I don’t know why you would be having lag unless your current router is quite outdated. Older routers don’t have the same technology as the new ones and this being dual band, it should provide with a better quality wireless experience. Even if they are 2-3 years old. Right in the app used to set this up and control and monitor your internet, it will show how many devices are connected. If you have too many things trying to stream, you will eventually run into issues. With 150 mbps you shouldn’t be having issues right now, I’m sure a new router would fix any issue you are having with the old one. Especially if it is more than a few years old. I highly recommend this package for ease of setup, use, and quality of WiFi

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had an exactly similar problem which had been driving me crazy for past 2 months. I did a lot of research and I figured out that 2.4 GHz network’s generally caps Out at 80-90 mbps even with best of the routers. I eventually ended up buying a new modem and a new router. the modem is Netgear CM 700 and the router is from media link AC 1200 . I have 150 Mbps Xfinity connection and I’m getting full speed on Wi-Fi 20 feet away from my router. I am using the 5 GHz network for all my laptop and phones . I have a couple of all devices like smart plugs which still depend on 2.4 GHz network . The router has dual network, so this is not a problem anymore .
