A:AnswerThe sound is okay. I find myself turning it up in the late 20's early 30's to be able to hear it. There are different settings such as normal, speech, theater, big bass, high treble and music, as well as advanced audio settings of virtual surround and dialog clarity. Once I get to the level of volume that I like, the words are clear and I am able to understand what is being said. I am thinking about getting a sound bar so I can have better quality of sound when I have people over and we are watching the television.
A:AnswerTechnically, they're called channels and not apps, but yes. In fact, this set even has a dedicated button on the remote for Sling. You have access to every Roku channel.
A:AnswerSeriously? A sale can be expected to last a week (Sun-Sat) unless specified otherwise. Last week's $100 off is over. Now it's only $50 off. Might as well wait for black friday and hope it's as good a sale then. I got mine at $100 off and free delivery. Plus 5% bonus rewards using their card.
A:AnswerYes, the TV software has been automatically updated a couple of times since I bought it. You can also initiate a manual update if you miss one for some reason.
A:AnswerGot the TV so I can answer this question myself, yes the TV can do PlayStation VUE and the current Roku version is 7.3.
Version 7.5 will be out soon for this TV and will include ability to pause live TV if you add a USB storage. I read that 16gb USB stick will allow you to pause live TV for up to 90 minutes. Also headphone listening through the Roku app will be in this version. The update started rolling out on November 1st for Roku TVs and so we should see this soon on our TV!
