QuestionIs there supposed to be an open space where you lift lid or is it supposed to be flush with top when lid is closed?

- Answer If you are talking about the Drum, then yes, there is supposed to be a space. The drum is connected to a leveling/stabilization system, that helps dampen vibration and also quiets the washing process. Because of this, the drum moves, and needs that space to do so.

- Answer I’m afraid to jinx myself but I’ve had this washer since June 2018. I’ve been happier with this than my previous LG front load - I’d recommend this unit.

QuestionI just installed it this evening, and I am running a test-wash. I hear it fill, agitate and drain...but I am not sure I heard it spinning after draining. How can I be sure it is running properly?

- Answer Turn the cycle selector to select the Rinse & Spin cycle. Press the Start/Pause) button to start the test cycle. Your washer shouldn’t rock or vibrate excessively when water fills the tub, or when washing or spinning. Your washer should drain well during the spin cycle.
