A:AnswerThe blue light just indicates that the freezer is on and operating. If you had it plugged in and the light was not lit to blue, then you either would not be getting electricity through the outlet plug you were plugged into, or have an issue with your freezer.

On the shelf you can put any size 5g (ie- one from BevMo) and the CO2. By comparison, you could not fit 3 kegs from BevMo - those kegs are too wide, but you could fit 2. 1: I have no clue how long the food would stay cold. I don't have a thermometer in mine, but, I'd guess it would be at least a day. It's a great lid seal on ours, so if you don't open it, the food should stay frozen for at least a day.
