A:AnswerI was surprised that the robot had no problem with our carpet because it is thick. If it is under a piece of furniture or in a tight space, it make take a couple of tries but it seems to lift itself as well as approach it from an angle. It got stuck when it went over a metal table leg which was in a corner, so I don’t leave the house when it is cleaning. I am impressed with how much dog hair it pulls out of the carpet
A:AnswerYou cannot control the direction but you can setup zones. You can tell the Roomba to either stay out of those zones or clean just one of them. Literally just tell it to zone your kitchen area and it will go right to the kitchen, clean and return to the base.
A:AnswerMy i7+ has no problem with my short pile area rug in the living room, and some other throw rugs on hardwood and tile. My guess is that it will do fine, but may push the small rugs on tile around a bit in the process of climbing onto them. My kitchen rug is quite light and it can wrinkle the edge a bit sometimes, but it doesn’t bother me. If your rugs are heavy and/or have rubber backing they will likely stay put.
A:AnswerThere isn't enough context to the question, with that said follow these general guidelines:
1. Location should be easy for the Roomba to get to
2. Base should be in an area with decent to good wifi connectivity
Rest is up to how you want to set it up
A:AnswerI have a Great Pyrenees and he sheds when looking at him lol. It definitely helps but has a lot of clogs from hair you’ll have to keep up with.
