  • Questioncan i run a portable o2 machine off it

    Asked by jammerocky.

    • Answer Dear Customer, Thanks for reaching out to us. The specific time still depends on the power of your portable o2 machine. Also, be careful not to make the power of the appliance greater than the power of the Jackery to avoid damage to the Jackery. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. • QuestionWant to confirm that the Jackery 290 will run a cpap machine or 7-8 hours. I usually do not use the humidifier. Getting conflicting information. Thank you.

    Asked by Ray.

    • Answer Dear Customer, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this question. Usually, the Jackery Explorer 290 can run the CPAP for around 5-18 hours. The specific run time depends on what is the pressure of your CPAP;heater and humidifier off or on. And the different brands also have different using time. Here is a set of data for your reference: ResMed AirSense 10, 10 pressure, the run time is 5-18 hours Philips Respironics Dreamstation, 10 pressure, the run time is 9-24 hours Should you have other questions or concerns, feel free to contact our customer service for the detailed answers. • QuestionCan I charge a boat battery with this

    Asked by Dano.

    • Answer I don't think so. The only way I see that happening is if your jumper cables have an electrical outlet that can plug into one of these ports.

  • QuestionWill the Jackery provide enough amps to power a oxygen concentrator for a short time?

    Asked by Curious.

    • Answer Dear Customer, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this question. As far as we know, the running watts of a typical oxygen concentrator is 480W - 1500W which is larger than the continuous output watts of the Explorer 290. So this item can not run it. • QuestionHow many watts can the 290 bring in via solar/ac plug. I’m familiar with the 240 which could do like 48 watts through solar and 39 when plugged in. I saw you recommended a 100w panel for the 290 though as opposed to 60w like the 240. How come? Thanks.

    Asked by Ian.

    • Answer Just a recommendation from others who have the jackery to use 100 watt panel. I am not sure why. Time issue?

  • QuestionHow does the solar panel hook up to the generator

    Asked by Bo.

    • Answer Dear Customer, Thank you for your question! The E290 can be charged using a compatible solar panel. Simply connect the solar panel’s output cable to the DC input port on the E290 and place the panel in direct sunlight for optimal charging. • QuestionWhich solar panel is compatible?

    Asked by Cosmosisjones.

    • Answer You can use any of the Jackery solar panels with this device. However, the device will limit the input power to about 100-105watts of input power. This varies depending on the size of the power station. Typically, this 240 v2 power station is sold with the 40watt solar panel. It typically will take about 7hrs to chase with that. With the 100watt solar panel, it will take about 3hrs to fully charge.
