• Depends on how long you need it to run. I ran a tiny 120v heater for 2 hours before needing it recharged. You may want to get one of the bigger batteries, if you need it to run for a day or more.

• It should, reptile heat lamps range from anywhere as low as 15w up to around 150w draw, this unit has a max of 200w so anything below that should be fine. However , how long it will be able to power it while off charger depends on the exact wattage of the bulb you're using.
