Will I need a parking brake bypass for this unit? null

This unit does have a lime green cable that will need to be connected to correct place for video to show.

This is a question for Best Buy auto techs. Because I have no idea. I am not technical.

No. I didn't use one... I just Connected the green wire to ground. I haven't had any problems yet. When using Android auto, the unit will tell you to use voice to choose your song if you start moving. Probably because your phones GPS senses you moving so it's a safety feature.
