• You would not get 1 ohm with this sub. You would need 2 of them wired in parallel in order to get the 1 ohm out of the amp.

• No. Read the manual and size speaker according to your amp specifications. Good chance if you do this incorrectly you will literally smoke your amp and your sub. This is a 2 ohm sub and clearly states such on the box and the manual.
