QuestionI am using a Netgear750 router 4300. I bought the AC1200 wifi range extender model ex6150 to use as an access point. Can I name both bands on the access point the same as the router so signal will switch?

- Answer The wifi name is your current name with an extention. You will see both wifi's from which to choose I'm thinking to move between the different points you may have to pick the different points.

- Answer Placed about half way between router and dead spots. It relays the signal by picking it up and rebroadcasting it. Directions say do not use in same rom as router. I have Comcast as ISP.

QuestionMine worked great for a month, then it lost its connection. I've tried to restart the process and even used the reset button, no luck. Now the indicator light stays amber, never flashes the green light. Won't reconnect to router in same room. Any ideas?

- Answer Yes. You will be able to see it as a wi-fi network on your phone's settings for connecting to wi-fi. The network name will be similar to the name of the network to which the extender is connected.

- Answer You should be able to use a LAN switch. The extender has 1 LAN connector to hard wire to devices. This is in fact what I'm doing, connecting to my Brother multi-function laser printer, taking it off of WiFi and using the extender to pseudo hard wire connect the printer to the family's computers.
