A:AnswerNo, it's recommended for 18 and up. Especially the headset weighs a bit and the headstraps are not made for a child. The lenses inside are made for an adult to view into. Plus idk what staring so close to a screen would do to a developing child.
A:AnswerIt's been my experience you can order most things online and ship it to your store (this seems like one of those items). It seems like only in cases where their warehouses don't have the product available will you only be able to buy and pick it up at the store with the item. I don't think they ship from store to store.
A:AnswerIncluded is the app quill a VR painting program. There is also the app medium for 3d modeling. Facebook has an app called facebook spaces for vr Facebook meetings. Fun stuff!
A:AnswerYou needed to buy it at the time of the sale. If you did go to the Best Buy and show them the receipt and they should give you it. I sadly got it 2 days after it ended so they weren’t able to give me one
A:AnswerIn order to use the rift + touch experience you need 2 for the sensors and one for the headset. An optional 3rd sensor can be added for $60 extra, but is only necessary in larger play spaces. They claim to be able to work on USB 2.0, but in my experience if they are not all plugged into full USB 3.0 compliant ports that get full 3.0 bandwidth (some hubs may be problematic) you will experience lag or have the setup software tell you it won’t work.
A:AnswerA beginner should start with a google cardboard which works with either Android or iOS devices. If you like the experience and want a more immersive controller based experience get the oculus rift + touch or the htc vive. Both have controllers included which are optimized for motion and “hand presence” which is an amazing experience. If you don’t like the included controllers, an Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller will also work. I also recommend the Steam controller because it is highly customizable even for games that otherwise don’t work, or don’t work well, with other controllers. In my opinion the rift touch controller is superior to the vive “wand” but I have never had the opportunity to test the wand, so my opinion is based on reviews.
A:Answernope , only works on PC , there are no VR games on Xbox anyway . the original Xbox 1 and Xbox 1 S definitely cant run VR games at a playable frame rate ( which is even higher for VR so you don't get motion sickness ) , the Xbox 1 X might be able to , but Microsoft doesn't seem to be leaning towards VR any time soon , so don't get your hopes up.
A:Answermost of the games ive played so far are standing only. I havent seen one yet that is sit down. most of ps4 vr games are sitdown. from what Ive seen.
A:AnswerI ran Alienware X51 R3 with nvidia gtx 740 (stock) and it worked just fine! Bought an graphics amplifier today to play vr chat.. and a 1050ti for 200
A:AnswerThey will just not at the same time. The computer is using all its firepower to run the single system and two of them would require a friggen nice computer with multiple ports. But at the moment you can’t play two headsets at the same time on one computer
