Does this use my factory USB ports ? null

When I got this installed in my 2013 Honda Civic, I asked the same thing. They said that it depends on the vehicle. I had to buy a separate adapter in order to keep the USB port in my center console. I suggest asking an installation expert. If you’re a DIY kinda person, then I suggest calling Crutchfield and asking them. They are very helpful.
