- Answer You need the Ring alarm system or another compatible ZWave Plus hub, these don't work on WiFi or Bluetooth.

- Answer Vwry easy. I messed one up when putting it up. Just a hair dryer to gently warm it up and it peels right off. Get some goo gone doe the resudue.

QuestionCan I receive a notification on my phone every time the door is opened, or does the system have to be "armed"? I am wanting a simple chime and phone notification anytime the back door is opened to protect my pool. Is this product a good option?

- Answer You can. By default, the base station and keypads will chime when the sensor activates (in this case, when the door opens). In the settings on the app, you can set phone alerts for door opening or closing. If you set this, you will get a phone alert within a couple of seconds of the sensor activating, telling you the date and time the door was opened.

QuestionDo any of the door alarms come with a pass through option so that the door can be used without triggering alarm. Need to alarm French doors for chid protection but do not want alarm triggered when used by an adult.

- Answer The delay notification can only be configured for the base station; however, you can change the mode settings for the sensors to not send any alerts when at home.

When you get a Ring Alarm, you can either self-monitor your own alarm system, or you can utilize the Ring Professional Monitoring service that comes with the Ring Protect plan. Professional monitoring is a service that monitors Ring Alarm for alarm signals, and can notify emergency contacts and request emergency dispatch from the authorities. The Ring monitoring center is a team of trained agents in a secure location who watch all Ring alarms 24/7/365. - Answer Hello JoJo, Yes, you will get audio alerts when a Sensor is opened, and you can review Sensor activity history in the Ring app. The Contact Sensor is made up of two parts - the sensor and the magnet - and when installed on your door or window, it can tell if the door or window is open or closed.
