You just need to connect the lock to your phone's Bluetooth and you can use your phone when you're walking up to the door to unlock the door. The only other thing you need would be the app. I believe they have a app for The iPhone and for Android phones. Ted

A:AnswerYou can get a "plug in" cord to attach to this unit. I believe the only way you can do what you want is to do the multi unit ring acct. I don't know for sure, as I do the multi unit acct.
