Yes, the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) is compatible with AC-powered door chimes operating between 8 and 24 volts AC, but it is not compatible with wireless door chimes or any chime or intercom system using a DC transformer. • yes if you hook it up to your doorbell wires the chime will also work
