A:AnswerHey Rich! You can find detailed instructions on how to turn the sound on/off, as well as using other features, on page 10 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/2PApogx). ^Jecca
A:AnswerI've used my fan once and it sounds like a normal fan exhaust. If you are seeing steam or hear a buzz/hum noise I would say something is wrong with the fans and you need to return your product immediately.
A:AnswerYes . . my cabinets are 12". The microwave will jut out further since it is 15" deep, And, yes, it is 17.1 " . . . the sides of the unit are about 16-1/2" height, but the bottom of it, in the middle . . . where the light is . . . hangs lower so that that takes it to 17.1"
A:AnswerMicrowave unit comes complete with a bottom rear rail that screws into the wall behind the microwave. This however will only support the rear bottom edge of the microwave… The top part of the microwave to the screw up into a solid cabinet underside above it. The microwave is too heavy to hang directly on the wall without the top being attached to an overhang. Corner brackets at the upper rear will not do the job.
Huge angle brackets with braces might…but will look bad.
The obvious solution, would be to get a countertop microwave, and either leave it on the counter, or build a shelf with a metal underside, set to or at the correct height above your rangetop. With this application however you would have to vent the microwave through the back directly into the wall, and up through the roof; or just rotate the built in exhaust fan manifold to re-circulate the exhaust air, so that it dumps exhaust air directly into the room itself.
The most practical fix, would be to install an over with the range cabinet with a cut out that matches the size of your microwave.
Then install your microwave up into the cabinet.
A:AnswerI replaced a GE Adore 1.9 cu foot unit from 2012 and all the mounting holes aligned, the cord cut-out aligned and I even could use the old wall bracket. There is an issue with the clearance of the door hinge. This unit needs slightly more clearance -- it requires a little more than 0.5 inches to a side wall on the left side.
A:AnswerI had the same issue. The delivery company was a third-party that was more than willing to charge me $175 to create an outlet. In less than 5 minutes, the outlet was in place and my card was swiped. The $175 fee is not set by Best Buy and my payment did not go to Best Buy. When the delivery company contacts you, ask about the conversion
A:AnswerThey suggest 30" from bottom of cabinet.
I have 12" from top of our gas range to bottom of miceowave.
This microwave has a heat sensor that turns on fan vent automatically when heat from range top would get to hot. It turns off when it has cooled.
I think they recommend 14" from bottom of microwave to top of range, but never had a problem.
A:AnswerHold the power level button down for for 3 seconds and it will prompt you to the clock settings. My husband struggled for a hour before giving up. Let’s just say I found it in 3 seconds!
