QuestionI’m replacing an older cooktop in a granite countertop. The cut out is 22” x 29” with plenty of space above and below. My concern is the 2” between cutout and back wall. Is that sufficient?

- Answer Mine was close to the wall as well. I was afraid I would have to remove the wifi add on, but it all fit. The wifi is actually useless, so if you need to remove it you won't miss anything. There is a plug to fill the hole.

QuestionDoes the bluetooth wifi part sit on the counter?

- Answer Yes, there is a bluetooth "tab" that sits on the counter at the rear right. It's about 1-1/2" wide and 1" depth so allowance needs to be a consideration with a backsplash.

- Answer WiFi module stick s out about an inch. Height about 1/2 inch width about 1.5 inches. I would check mfg specs for exact deminsions

QuestionToday I ordered and paid for this cooktop Model NA30K6550TS SKU 558171 in Stainless steel. Does my model have the WiFi Connectivity? I think it might be a 2016 model. I had no clue till I got home and went to the samsung website?

- Answer It has connectivity with a specific model of Samsung range hood. It will automatically control the range hood in some way. The installer had never seen both installed together. IIRC, it uses Bluetooth.

QuestionHow high does the range sit on top of counter. I see that the total dimensions are 5 41/72”. So how much of that is sitting on countertop. Thank you

- Answer The top of the cast iron grate sits approx. 2" above the countertop surface.

QuestionWondering if this is compatible with Broan model 2730 downdraft system.

- Answer This is not a downdraft cooktop. You will have to vent it some other way. I took out my microwave a d installed a rangenhiod and I have to install a vent pipe to the outside. Best thing I ever did because I am not a big fan of downdrafts. My house does not smell like dinner any more because of the range hool.
