- Answer Yes, but on the one I had to let it be formatted, unless you pull the pre installed software off, you'll lose it. Using it for the computer you can utilize that software.

- Answer Yes works good on PC, Mac, PlayStation- I plug it into Desktop Tower or the Laptop, wherever i need it- you can upload to it, or download from it, plugs into any USB port, and will transfer faster in "lightning" Ports Best Buy sells the various Hubs and adapters for connecting with multi-device sets. i recommend the carry case with the belt hook, good for grab an go- you'll like the price.

- Answer I assume you're referring to usb-c (most future technologies will begin to adopt this). You can buy usb-c to USB 3.0 adapters, but be careful of the power reduction. This may cause the external hard drive to not receive enough power to operate. I'd recommend a external hard drive with native usb-c (make sure your Windows 8 PC has USB-c and not micro USB before buying, usb-c plug is pill-shaped and can be plugged in with 2 degrees of freedom).

- Answer Connect the drive to a vacant USB port using the included cable. Once automatically detected, follow the on-screen prompts, permitting the drive to be formatted. By using the external hard drive on Xbox One, all prior data is erased. 1. Connect your external hard drive to an Xbox One USB port. An on-screen pop-up will display. 2. Select Format storage device. 3. Enter a name for the drive using the on-screen keyboard. 4. Select Install new things here to automatically install future games on this drive. 5. Select Format storage device. Now configured for Xbox One, future games and apps automatically install to your external drive.

- Answer You can format the drive any way you want. Note that the maximum size for a FAT32 partition is 2TB and the maximum size of a file is 4 GB. The drive doesn't restrict how it can be formatted. I've used these in Windows, Macs, Linux with different formats,

- Answer It is compatible, but currently you'll need to open the enclosure and then install the drive internally. An upcoming update will allow external usage though.
