A:AnswerAs of February 1, 2024 - NO. Tablo keeps saying that the Apple TV app is coming, but at this point I say - don't hold your breath. If you are an Apple TV user, avoid the Tablo 4th Gen at least for the near term. Some day a Tablo 4th Gen app for Apple TV may become a reality.
A:AnswerYou need to check the app store on your TV as they all differ, but I am pretty sure there is not a Tablo app right now for it. This uses a newer Tablo app, not the one most use now.

Recording to an external drive does not in crease resolution. The DVR records whatever resolution the program was broadcast in. So, typically 480P or 1080P.

A:AnswerI get 51 channels that are streaming through the Tablo, they aren't major channels, but they do show movies, News and some sports. But you will need a Roku to stream other services. But it does pick up antenna channels very well. I am getting a total of 161 channels with their streaming service in my area.
