A: I have both the R1 and an R5. I connect to my 60 samsung tv via blue tooth. Ther is a app that lets you connect multiple sam sung devices ( I can connect both speakers with same music or diferent music at the same time. Hope this helps.

A: No, it works with Samsung's Multiroom app only.
Q: can you connect with ur smart samsung tv in addition to a sound bar for added expensive
A: Yes, even in addition to the subwoofer and rear speakers, but only 2. Your soundbar gets full signal and controls the sub and rear speakers, but your TV doesnt see them so it connects to the m5, m7, r3, r5, r7 like you only have the sound bar. Just go to surround settings, select soundbar plus speakers, and follow the wizard to add 2 more speakers to your setup.

A: It should work as surround speakers for the Samsung soundbar.

A: They have wifi, so if your tv can do wifi speakers, probably.
