Q: Can you guys recover data from a broken usb drive ?
A: Not sure about an USB, but I would be surprised if they couldn't. They just retrieved files and photos from my broken external hard drive - but it cost me $600.00 to do it and that included a discount because I have a Greek Squad Membership. And I was lucky they told me because I was at second level of being able to get the information retrieved before it had to go out to there engineer Department which at that point would have cost me $1,500. I had 10 years worth of pictures on that external hard drive they retrieved almost 8,000 pictures and other data. Will not let that happen again will replace external hard drives every five years as well as put photos on a thumb drive as well and that's what they recommend that you store valuable data and pictures on two separate devices
Customers are delighted by the Data Recovery feature, especially the ability to recover data from thumb drives. Users also appreciate the fast service, experienced technicians, agent knowledge, and professionalism. Some customers reported issues with corrupted hard drives and felt the cost was a bit high. However, others found the service easy to use and friendly.

A Geek Squad Agent will remotely help you repair operating system issues, remove any viruses or malware, install or repair one security software application (cost of software not included), and perform an OS Tune Up.

Save yourself time and have the job done right. A skilled Agent will visit your home and transfer or backup up to 100GB of data from 1 computer to a network-attached storage (NAS), hard drive or other storage medium.

To use PCmover, simply install it on both your old and new Windows computers, and follow the easy-to-use wizard. When the transfer is complete, your new PC will have the personality and functionality of your old one. Because most transferred applications are installed ready-to-use on the new PC, there's usually no need to find old CDs or previously downloaded applications, serial numbers, or license codes. A single purchase of PCmover provides one license to migrate from one source to one destination computer - with as many attempts needed. Additional computers will require an additional license(s).
