The repair was a success until I tried to use any of my Microsoft 365 programs. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint would not open. When I called back the Agent I talked to tole me that they could not help since I did not purchase those programs from Best Buy. I was on my own.

I THINK HW DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I NEEDED. I DID NOT HAVE A VIRUS..MY IDENTITY WAS STOLEN,I WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE UNABLE TO ACCESS MY COMPUTER. AND WHY DOES MY COMPUTER HAVE 6 DIFFERENT IP ADDRESSES??? NO WONDER IT ONLY TOOK HIM A MINUTE THERE WAS NO VIRUS. I THINK I DESERVE A REFUND OR AT LEAST ANOTHER SESSION WITH THE GEEK SQUAD.

Computer still jumps to other web sites from intended one. Also, it will get out of clicked URL and go back to desktop. Finally Drop Box comes up when a program is clicked on. Clair Redmond

My college daughter clicked on a link and a hacker took over her computer and wiped out her bank account. I brought the laptop here to have it thoroughly reviewed and cleaned up. They did a great job and we ended up buying the membership for the year. If this happens again, we don't have to worry about paying a fee.

I had someone on geek squad remotely try and fix my laptop to remove malware. Upon the person helping me, my browser crashed and I couldn’t connect to the internet anymore. He told me to w download my hard drive and I still couldn’t not connect. I tried calling back but I would have had to wait over an hour and during this time I need my laptop for work and school. I had to purchase a new laptop

The agents were never able to connect to my computer. I ultimately had to take the computer to a local Best Buy store to have the work done. I will never again try to get "remote" service. Dealing with humans in my presence works for me.

We have a protection plan thru veruzon for all electronic. They were worthless. I talked my husband into calling Geek Squad and in less then half an hour they fixed it remotely. The company vetizon sent us too kept the machine for 3 days and said they couldn't fix and the don't get paid enough to waste their. WOW. BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD IS THE BEST

Always happy with Geek Squad tech support. My printer issue was solved. It should show in the work tickets with my name.
I was switched to another agent (Meghana) who offered to clean up my computer...remove any malware etc. I communicated with her during our chat session. I am now without a browser as I was told she deleted them. NOW, I have an in store appointment tonight to correct the issue.
I asked questions about chrome or edge... She said I could use both. She signed off and that was that. Total Tech subscription
let me down today. The computer scan showed no viruses etc.
I thought I was good to go, but, NO. I have no idea if other things were deleted. I hope the appointment tonight will resolve anything she may have done. SAD!
