A: The camera comes on when in reverse and it does have guidelines and I can see well out of it depending on the glare during the day

A: Just a view screen when vehicle is shifted to reverse. Regular mirror otherwise. In bright daylight adjust mirror down a bit for clarity. Buy camera.
Q: HOW DOES THE SCREEN/MIRROR CONNECT TO THE CAMERA? WILL IT WORK WITH ANY BACK UP CAMERA?
A: The mirror has a power connection (cig lighter adapter) and an RCA video input. It will work with any backup camera that uses a standard RCA output, which is basically all of the universal ones.
