A:AnswerI can’t answer that question for you, because in different areas it will vary depending on how far away the TV stations are. I am probably 50 to 75 miles away from the local channels and they come in crystal clear . The local channels are Streaming other channels. I get Metv a mystery channel several western channels, cozy channel, a game show channel, bounce and Several public channels, plus others. I am happy to get rid of that big satellite bill I was paying
A:AnswerMetal materials cause interference with TV signals. The antenna would need to be mounted outdoors on the roof. This antenna is multidirectional and will receive signals through the front and the back of the antenna. It is always best to face the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area. The antenna has a wide beam angle so it will receive signals from
Widely spaced towers. You can use our free app Antenna Point on your apple
or Android phone to find the towers.
A:AnswerHow many channels you get depends on how many are broadcast in your area. Go online and find the map where the towers are, and mount it facing them.
A:AnswerABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW, MeTV, PBS and many more... you can look at the available channels in your area by clicking this link and entering your zip code https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html. Thanks for sending us a note.
A:AnswerAntennas do not receive cable stations, only networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. and you can see all the TV stations available in your area by clicking this link and entering your zip. https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html
A:AnswerTotal waste installing indoors. You'll only get channels that are very close. We hung ours from an old TV antenna and get AMAZING results. Seriously-seriously doubt you'll like it indoors.
A:AnswerIn general, or specifically with this antenna? EMR (Electromagnetic Radiation) can be given off by various different sources. I have purchased this antenna twice now in the last 5 years (first got completely demolished by a falling tree), and would buy it again without any reservation. I live in a small wooded valley and have tried many different internal antennas, never getting more than 2 channels. Tried this one inside before mounting it, and it found all but one of the locals immediately. Once mounted outside, it had them all. Personally, j think this might do the job for you, but you never know.
The only way you will know if it will work for you is to try it.
A:AnswerThe face should be pointed in the proper direction. Obviously there are multiple apps to show you the correct direction for your particular house.
A:AnswerThis can be installed anywhere you want. I personally have it sitting in a nook near my ceiling in the living room. It's just leaning against the wall aimed in the direction of the towers in my area. You can use the free app to locate the towers in the area to figure out where you need to aim it.
A:AnswerThe one that came in the box was about an inch or so in diameter. It had no trouble mounting to a TALL triangular mast, aiming at the desired distant transmitter. I had an older model of the same antenna before we moved and it worked PERFECTLY. The newer model was LESS substantial and did not perform as well.
A:Answerif it isn't a digital TV then NO it won't work. We have an old digital TV and the antennae will not work with that one but does work with a newer TV, not sure why on that one.
