• Metal materials cause interference with TV signals. The antenna would need to be mounted outdoors on the roof. This antenna is multidirectional and will receive signals through the front and the back of the antenna. It is always best to face the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area. The antenna has a wide beam angle so it will receive signals from Widely spaced towers. You can use our free app Antenna Point on your apple or Android phone to find the towers.

• No antenna will work inside a metal garage. It should work outside. Note that this antenna is quite directional. If you are pointing it towards a city it will work fine with little reflection from your metal garage. If you're in a city, an omnidirectional antenna will be much better.
