A:AnswerI believe most if not all washers spin longer on the rinse cycle. This is in order to remove as much moisture as possible for drying or it would take much longer.
A:AnswerCould be a problem as the usual 4” dryer vent hose comes out of the back and you need room for that without crushing it or being too close to any combustible surface
A:AnswerHello, there. We appreciate you reaching out. GE Appliances offers a universal washing machine floor tray that helps prevent floor damage from scuffs, spills, and overflows with a durable plastic pan that fits securely under the washer. The model number is PM7X1.The tray also has the capacity to have a drain hose added to it of you want to have the tray direct water into a floor drain. There are threads on the drain port, and the tray includes a PVC drain fitting, washer and lock nut to connect it to the hose. We hope this helps!-Kianna@GEA

A:AnswerHi there - We hate to hear you're having an issue with your laundry center. If you have not already done so, we would recommend unplugging the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. If the issue persists, we would recommend service as we do not have the level of expertise to provide do-it-yourself repair advice. If needed, please call 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerHi - Thank you for having purchased a GE laundry center. When the Precise Fill water level is selected it is not unusual for the the tub to turn as it fills to sense the size of the load to ensure the proper amount of water is being used. Also, certain cycles incorporate short periods of "soak" to provide the best possible cleaning performance. When soaking, the washer will stop agitating. If you do not feel this describes the manner in which your washer is operating, we recommend calling GE service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule an appointment to have the washer checked. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerYes - pretty much all dryers are 220 volts. A possible issue is that the old receptacle “could be” different than a new plug (this machine doesn’t come with a new cord/plug) - so on mine, I disconnected old wire/cord, and connected it to new machine
A:AnswerHello- Thanks so much for your interest. It does have Tap Cold on the dial. Tap Cold uses the incoming tap water, which can provide energy savings. For all other temperature selections, a mixture of hot and cold water is used to achieve the ideal temperature for each temperature setting. The following link will have some benefits to washing with cold water. https://www.geappliances.com/ge/lifestyles/6-reasons-to-cold-water-wash.htm If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. A:AnswerThis washing machine takes about 20 minutes longer to wash my clothes than my previous machine did. I’ve never timed the individual cycles, but it does still push water out all the way through the wash, rinse, and spin cycles on a normal wash
