A:AnswerHi,
Good question! We appreciate the interest and we'd be happy to help. We found that this model only has Bleach and Fabric Softener dispensers. We apologize if this causes any inconveniences. Have a great day!

A:AnswerThanks for answering my question. The machine wasn't on top of hose and it only sits 3 ft off the ground. So I did a reset method I found online - unplugging unit for 1 min, within 15 seconds of plugging back in open/close door 6 times - which reset the unit and worked properly after that.
A:AnswerHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! We always enjoy hearing from interested customers and we'd love to help with your question. Unitized washer dryer units only have one power cord. There is not a separate cord for the washer and the dryer. This model should be connected to a dedicated 120/240V or 120/208V 30-amp time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. The 240/208V will power the dryer, and the unit internally steps it down to 110/120V for the washer. The power cord can be purchased separately and should adhere to your local electrical codes. Thanks for asking. Take care!

A:AnswerHi there - Thanks for reaching out about this! It's not uncommon to have a small amount of water at the bottom of the wash basket after a load is complete. The amount of water is typically a 1/2 cup of water or less, and is considered normal. This will occur when water becomes trapped in the fill nozzle (fill tube) at the top of the wash basket after the water shuts off after filling. Often the nozzle doesn't immediately drain all of the remaining water, so after some time (even a few hours later), the water tension holding in the water breaks and the last amount of water is released or spurted from the fill nozzle. It's similar to the small spurt or burst of water that sometimes comes out of a bathroom shower head after the water is turned off. If there is more than a 1/2 cup of water in the bottom of the tub, service may be required. If needed, you can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737. We hope this helps! -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, Brenda. Great question! Special laundry detergent is not required. We recommend using High Efficiency (HE) detergents because they deliver superior cleaning performance. Thanks for checking! -Mikayla@GEA
A:AnswerHi there! Thanks for reaching out to us. We're sorry that the dryer is dripping water at the door and that the clothes are not coming out dried all of the way. We see how this can be frustrating. We suggest that you double check the load size to ensure that you are not overloading the dryer. Overfilling with a bunch of sopping wet clothes may cause this too. You can find loading instructions on page 14 of the unit's Use and Care manual. Otherwise, We recommend that you call your installer to check the exhaust. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at our social pages. Stay safe! Emily@GEA
A:AnswerThey can both operate at the same time. It doesn't work like the old models and makes a back and forth swishing and creaking sound. Drives my kid crazy but it doesn't bother me. Cleans great.

A:AnswerHello Joey, thank you for your question. This cycle has a variable length depending on which setting is selected. For Quick Rinse/Rinse & Spin, the cycle will last approximately 7 minutes. If using fabric softener, you will need to add 3.5 minutes to this cycle. If you are using the Drain & Spin cycle, the length will be approximately 8 minutes. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. You can reach out to us further at the “Contact Us” link on our website. – Chris@GEA
A:AnswerI do not know the answer. All I can tell you I hat I LOVE the machine it washes and dries beautifully. There are no wrinkles in the clothes. I am very happy. The service company that installed my products did an amazing job. A plus.

A:AnswerHi there, thank you for reaching out to us about your unitized washer and dryer. We truly appreciate your patience and are very sorry to hear of the issues you are having with a burning odor from your washer. We can imagine that this would be a stressful experience for you and are happy to help!
A burning smell coming from a fairly new washer could be caused by the inlet hoses. Sometimes new inlet hoses put off a strong rubber odor that can be mistaken for a burning smell. To determine if the odor is coming from the inlet hoses, start the washer so that it fills with hot water and stop the washer before it starts to agitate. If you can smell the burning rubber from only the fill cycle (no motor or pump running) before it even starts to agitate, the problem is just the hoses. This is normal and will fade over time. However, you do not smell the odor from the fill cycle, we would recommend that you take advantage of your warranty and have a qualified service technician properly diagnose the issue. You can schedule an appointment with GE Factory Service by calling 1-800-432-2737 Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET, Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET, or schedule online at any time. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
A:AnswerHi Jade - Thank you for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate you choosing this unitized washer and dryer for your home and apologize for any confusion regarding the electrical supply. We are happy to help you with this! This unit should be connected to a 208/240 volt, individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3-prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 30-amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. The 240/208V will power the dryer, and the unit internally steps it down to 110/120V for the washer. - The terminal block at the rear of the unit will provide access for either electrical connections using a power cord or for direct wire connections. There is not a separate cord for the washer and the dryer, and the power cord should be purchased separately. We would recommend that you review pages 8-9 for guidance on electrical connections to prepare for this installation. Please feel free to reach back out to us if you have any additional questions about this installation or using this washer and dryer in the future. We are always happy to help! -Eliza@GEA
