Hi MrsWiz - Thanks for reaching out to us about your unitized washer and dryer! We are sorry to hear that you had coins fall when opening the lint filter and can imagine that this has been a frustrating situation for you. If coins are left in the interior of the dryer, this has the potential to damage the unit or become a safety concern. It is recommended that you have the dryer interior and the ducting vacuumed by a qualified service technician annually. To make sure that your unit is clean and the coins are removed, please reach out to GE Factory Service by calling 1-800-432-2737 Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET, Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET, or schedule online at any time. We hope that this helps! -Eliza@GEA
