A:AnswerThe settings go down to 35, but there is a continuous mode. The humidity levels/settings are not always accurate, as I have had humidity in the house below 35 and it will still run.
A:AnswerI used a garden hose and had no problems. The dehumidifier has a plastic threaded nozzle and it is easy to cross-thread it. You should try it again.

The "Empty" indicator will blink when the bucket is ready to be emptied, or when the bucket is removed and/or not replaced in the proper position. A:AnswerThis unit will shut down either when the reservoir is full or when the set humidity level is reached. If the reservoir is not full when the humidity goes up, it will restart.

A:AnswerIt will take a couple weeks to bring it down and maintain it. 60% is pretty high. Just set the setting at 45-50% and turn it on low. It will pretty much run so the tank fills up. Just keep emptying it and it will bring the humidity level down. My Nest reports 38% humidity while the unit reports its as 40-45% range.

We recommend disconnecting the power for 10 minutes and remove your bucket and reinstall it and make sure it is firmly in place. Restore power and see if that helps. Thanks so much for reaching out. We'll be happy to answer your question! Dehumidifiers do not work well when the air temperature is lower than 40 degrees F. They rely on having a surface that is colder than the air to attract humidity. If the air temperature is below 40F the unit cannot get cold enough to attract moisture at the same rate that it does when the air temperature is warmer.
When the ambient temperature is above 95F or below 41F, the unit will shut off. This protects the compressor. to restart the dehumidifier, wait three minutes and turn the unit back on. Have a great day! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerThe filter is a fine plastic mesh. It's on the outside and is easily accessible. To clean it, simply pop it out of the holders and rinse it. If there are any stubborn particles, you can rub them and they should wash out with a second rinse.
