“This unit has a delay button but no up/down arrows to select a time, does it only shut off when desired humidity is reached. Directions show that an independent on/off times can be used by setting delay but with no up/down buttons can't be done”

Hi jjpw - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE! We are happy to help. You can't set a time that you want it to shut off; you set the number of hours. When you press Delay, 1 hour will show in the display. Keep pressing Delay until the number of hours you want is displayed. We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
