• This unit will shut down either when the reservoir is full or when the set humidity level is reached. If the reservoir is not full when the humidity goes up, it will restart.

• Hi Mike - Dehumidifiers have an automatic humidistat that can be adjusted to suit your individual comfort level. Set the control to the desired humidity level (ex. 45%), and the unit will cycle off when the set humidity level is reached. It will cycle back on when the humidity level increases again.
