I am not sure about your question but I am pretty sure that this converter is not what you need. This converter takes a digital signal, like from a modern DVD player and converts it to analog so you can listen to your dvd's though powered speakers or an older sound system that has analog inputs. You should just get a basic $20-$30 digital antenna, they come with pretty long cables so you can drag them out to a window when the signal is not that great.
