A:Answer Yes, but with one challenge. Indeed I mounted a LG UQ9000 on this stand. As described in my earlier stand review, the bottom horizontal mounting bar unfortunately will cross over the Fiber Optic output on the back of the TV. The bottom bar is fixed to that position due to the mounting holes on the TV.
If you are NOT going to use the Fiber Optic then no challenge. If you need the Fiber Optic, in the stand box, there are SPACERS, that hold the bar off the back of the TV, that allowed me to kind of Wedge the FO Cable out underneath the bar. Need to install the FO Cable BEFORE you put the horizontal bar on, You need cable that has sort of a short head, and the socket would flex just enough to bend it down enough to get the cable out.
In retrospect there was another set of additional extra spacers, that I could have added with the others, to push the bar off the TV even more. I'd do that if I had to do it again.
The stand works great after working around this challenge. The TV is light, and stand obviously was built to handle much much bigger TVs.
