A:AnswerI was able to set up my remote to learn my apple TV, you just program one of the buttons to be the "on" button for it. I have a Insignia Ruku Smart TV and a LG sound bar that it works great with. I believe this remote works with a lot of products (according to our Bestbuy guy). Plus, its super easy to set up; you just plug in all the model numbers & serial numbers for each device into a website and it programs it for you.
A:AnswerMy husband says he thinks it will work fine. The only thing he is not sure about is the splitter. He has 5 devices on his Harmony but does not use a splitter-!he has a receiver.
A:AnswerIt does work with DirecTV but I have no knowledge of the other two specifically. I would be willing to bet that it would though. You have to put in the name and model of the equipment you have and then it will figure out what they want to do.
A:AnswerYou can create sequences and add them to the actions such as watching TV so that when the TV starts, changing the channel to channel 3 also is part of that function.
A:AnswerYes.
Anything you can do with Directv remote, you can do with the harmony. I have wired system, not the wireless they are currently pushing out. But I can record, play back, delete from dvr using the harmony.
A:AnswerThe Harmony 665 is perfect for your application. Just attach the Harmony to your PC via the USB cable, download the commands for all of your devices and then set up an "Activity"
This will program all of the necessary devices to do what you want and assign that series of commands to a single button (one of the red buttons at the top of the remote which have various icons such as a TV, Music, Movie) Then all you have to do is press that button and every command you need will be sent to the various devices.
You don't need any additional equipment (other than the Harmony 665) to accomplish this.
A:AnswerWillie, please list the brand of your STB (set top box) so that all these cable guys out there can give you an answer. As an example: Scientific Atlanta, Motorola etc...
A:AnswerYes I just verified for you. I pressed Devices on my Harmony 665. I pressed Apple TV 4K. Home showed up on the color screen as one of the options. If you don't want to do that I also have pressed menu too to utilize that button.
