- Answer I would delete the device from your phone first. then boot the headphones back into pairing mode by holding the phone button until the light flashes blue/red rapidly. Then search for your headphones with your phone and repair them.

QuestionRE PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have not been able to find the manufacturer anywhere! THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE QUESTION. QuestionFirmware & DriverAccording to the online user guide, there is a link for product support that I can not see on the Best Buy sit. Instructions say to go to: www.bestbuy.com/modal then click Support & Service. Enter Model number there is nothing there view. is this no longer available?

- Answer I was able to find the online help. I don't think you go under the support link as it directs. I seem to recall the help being on the right side of the screen

QuestionThe blue light is constantly on and I can't reset the headphones.The blue light is constantly on and I can't pair to any of my devices. I have held down the on-off button for over 10 seconds and nothing happens - the headset doesn't turn off. I pushed in what looks like a reset button for over 10 seconds but still nothing happened. How can I turn the headset off and reset?

- Answer The power button only needs held down for 2 seconds to turn on or off. To put into pairing mode you would hold the power button for 4 seconds, which should cause the LED to flash Blue and Red quickly showing it in pairing mode. If these steps are not working, you will want to have the headset reviewed by Geek Squad at your local Best Buy under manufacturer warranty.

QuestionI have an issue with itWhen trying to listen to a TV at the gym I go to (which has a headphone port) via a stereo to bluetooth dongle, the outputted audo is cutting up a lot until I power off the headset and turn it back on. Does anyone else have this issue or not? If so, then MODAL has to figure out why its happening so it can be fixed in a later revision of the headset.

QuestionCan one purchase the ear pads seperately?You all heard the story of "the dog at my homework" well my puppy made quick work of my (pre-Modal ... Rocket fish I think was the brand) ear pads. I just need to know if I can purchase them at any Best Buy OR do I have to order them on line?

- Answer Short Answer: Yes, you can often purchase ear pads on Ebay, Amazon and other retailers. Long Answer: They do not have to be a perfect match. In fact many times it is better to be a ear pad made from the material you love rather than finding an identical match. But if you must find a match their are an abundance of companies who make knock off ear pads. I have tried all trhee methods, manufacturer, small company overseas, to trying earpads that are close enough to be creative and comfortable.

QuestionBlue tooth light stayed a solid blue all day and would not connect to music or phone call.I just purchased a set of these headphones. I used them once this morning on a phone call. Call ended, then the blue light stayed on and would not connect to the next call and would not turn off. What is the problem? I have wifi connection and blue tooth. Please advise.

- Answer I would suggest removing the headphones from your phones "Bluetooth devices" list and re-pair.

QuestionDriver for Windows 7 64-bitI am unable to load proper drivers for the headset and therefore cannot use it with my PC - I see someone else had this issue and the response is this is a computer issue. I disagree and believe this IS a driver issue ... where can one go to find drivers that are appropriate? If you think this is plug - n - play, please show how this is so on Windows 7 - 64 Bit ... thanks.

- Answer It should automatically connect... Check your sound settings under your control panel in Windows... also check to be sure there are no other sound devices connected (speakers, other headphones, other Bluetooth devices). Good luck

QuestionWhere can I get replacement ear pads?The one of the ones I had fell off after a couple of weeks and is now lost. Where can I order a replacement set. I'm not sure why these are made so the come loose easily but they do (just like the old Razorfish ones did). Great product, but poor ear pad installation. Where can I buy a replacement set of pads?

- Answer I have the exact version of windows on my Pc and like you I see the device in the list but they seemed to not work for me..........................until I right clicked on the device and then clicked on connect. worked just fine for me at that point. each time I connect I have to do it this way for whatever reason. Hope it works for you

- Answer If the unit is within the 1 year manufacturer warranty, and you have a copy of the receipt or the store can look the receipt up, you can have them reviewed by Geek Squad in your local Best Buy as they handle all of our warranty servicing.

- Answer Will not work with my iPhone 6, iPhone 6S or new iPad Air II running iOS 9.2. Worked with my iPhone 5 running iOS 9.2 just fine. Contacted Best Buy/Modal Support and they have no clue. Contacted Apple Support and they have no clue. It is older Bluetooth V3.0 technology. All Bluetooth devices SHOULD be backwards compatible, but not with newer iPhones.

QuestionThird MD-HPBT01 that died on meHad 3 pairs MD-HPBT01 headphones. The first two lasted only 3 days before they would not turn back on. This last one died at 3 weeks. No lights no matter how long I push the phone symbol button. What's going on? I've tried charging them again overnight. They all died midstream during the day while in between calls. I was not even close to discharging the battery according to the product specifications. Is this just a bad product or is there something I should or should not be doing? I treat them gently, charge them every night

- Answer That's weird...I have the MD-HPBT01 as well. Sounds like bad luck to me. Tech products can be like that sometimes and that has happened to me. My battery is lasting easily a week of about an hour or so everytime I use it. I would try another one but there are other good bt headsets out there also

- Answer As previously posted: Try resetting the headphones. 1. Plug them in to charge. 2. Press and hold the Talk, Play and + buttons all at once. 3. Hold for 5 seconds or until you see the light on the side of the device flash. Then try pairing them again. I had this same symptom where they seemed completely dead. I found someone online had said how to reset them and this worked for me.
