- Answer Yes but this does not have POE. Your PTZ camera will need its own power source. If the camera can do POE then get the POE switch.

QuestionI have several devices that will not operate properly unless connected directly into a router's ethernet port. I have an unmanaged switch that will not "fool" these devices into thinking they are connected directly to the router. Will this SW worK?

- Answer That’s unusual. A switch simply expands your wired network. I’ve never come across this issue. This is probably a wiring or port issue. Check the uplink cable and replace with another. Make sure you connect the switch to the LAN port of the router.

- Answer No, this one does not do that. You’ll see POE in the description of any switch that supports Power Over Ethernet, and you’ll see that feature reflected in the higher price.
