A:AnswerThat will depend on the apartment management. I am in an apartment and using mine. I am running on the battery which is rechargeable. I have had mine a little over a month and there is still 3/4 charge in the battery. There are small screws to hold it. I'm sure they don't want you hardwiring it. Just ask them.
A:AnswerYes. I have ADT and recently installed Ring. They are two separate systems. I don't have any camera equipment with ADT so not sure if that's the difference. I love the Ring tool and app but I still have ADT monitoring services.
A:AnswerNo activation fee. There is a $3 a month or $30 a year fee to have your videos saved for I believe 60 days. And you are able to share them. First 30 days is a free trial. The doorbell works pretty well for a very reasonable price
