QuestionCan you use the Sonos Arc on the tv while using the rest of your Sonos sound system playing music at the same time? For instance, could my roommate be watching a movie using the arc while I’m outside listening to music on my Sonos Move?

- Answer Your roommate can just turn on Bluetooth on the Move and Bluetooth his music from his phone to the Move.

Questionhow do I connect a turntable or allow a turntable to use the speaker. I have a Sony str dn1030 amplifier but I don't want to use this on my tv...only want to connect my turntable and allow the Sonos speakers to be the sound.

- Answer If you are able to connect a HDMI cable to your turntable and then connect opposite end to your TV, then it might work. You may need a Smart TV and it would have to be on. Select the input and if needed, turn on your SONOS system. Good luck, and check to confirm my setup.

- Answer Any TV with ARC or eARC. I personally would look at 65” Samsung or LG. You can find models in that size for less than $800

- Answer The Sonos arc will work with most tv's since 2017. Make sure you have an hdmi-arc input on your tv and you will get all the benefits of this sound bar.

- Answer Oof. 1. If you put ark through hdmi eARC if will control every channel on tv. 2. There are 11 speakers (3 bass, 2 front, 2 sides, 2 diagonal and 2 ceiling speakers.) 3. Sonos dont list the output but trust me it is enough. It shakes the floor in a 20x24 room. Its the loudest and clearest soundbar ive ever heard. 4. Dont really know how to answer, sound is very dense i suppose? 5. Loudest soundbar ive ever heard. Enough to make you deaf easily. If i had to guess id say 110db.

Questioni have 2 questions....it seems that the voices are low when people are talking. Is there any way to move the voice volume up other than the speech enhancement....Also, how can i verify i am getting the 5.1 Dolby sound out of the soundbar...

- Answer When you open the volume control in the app when something is playing it displays the sound type. Dolby 5,1 would be displayed.

- Answer I had to borrow my girlfriend's iPhone for the initial TruePlay set up. After that, you can use your Android phone to adjust settings, volume, etc. Make sure you download the orange Sonos app, not the black/gray one.

QuestionDoes anyone know if there is a delay? I used my play 5s as TV sound but too much delay. I also have a very nice sub and MK rear surround speakers all wired. My question is about delay due to wi/fi.... any thoughts? thank you

QuestionCan you use a receiver and a wired subwoofer with the arc soundbar.? There is nothing wrong with our old sub woofer and it does such a great job...or do we have to buy a new sub woofer to be compatible with the Sonos arc soundbar?

- Answer Hi, and thank you for this question. You would have to use our Sub. The reason is that if there is another device (ie receiver) that is controlling the crossover we don't have a way for our soundbar to tell it what frequencies to send to the Subwoofer. Even if we did, we can't be sure that the receiver would be doing it at the right time or capable of even sending that frequency appropriately. We keep our ecosystem pretty tight to ensure the best experience possible!

QuestionI have a ASUS mesh router. ARC won’t connect to my 5g network, only my 2.4. It won’t even see my 5G network name. Is there a fix for this? Enjoy the sound but connectivity goes out between phone and ARC. Bose 700 had no issue w/ my router.

- Answer Same, It doesn’t seem to see 5ghz networks. I tried multiple settings with ASUS router. Everything works fine though with ARC, so not going to waste any more energy on it.

QuestionI used to be able to play my iPhone music library on the Sonos sound bar. The update took away that feature. We were thinking of purchasing the arc that I might be able to play my iPhone music library on it. Can I play my iPhone music in the arc?

- Answer Yes, you can play your music library from your IPhone using Apple Airplay on the Sonos Arc. It will stream your music using your WiFi. There is no Bluetooth option with the Sonos Arc.
