“I have a ASUS mesh router. ARC won’t connect to my 5g network, only my 2.4. It won’t even see my 5G network name. Is there a fix for this? Enjoy the sound but connectivity goes out between phone and ARC. Bose 700 had no issue w/ my router.”

Same, It doesn’t seem to see 5ghz networks. I tried multiple settings with ASUS router. Everything works fine though with ARC, so not going to waste any more energy on it.

Hi, and thank you for reaching out with this question. Arc will only use 5ghz for a home theater set up with bonded surrounds/Sub. The reason for this is that 5ghz is great for interference, however the range is only about 20-30ft. Because of this we cannot guarantee a great wifi connection experience as our products are intended to go to multiple places inside of the home, which 5ghz may not reach.
